John Smith

My thought on John Smith (the druggy one) is that he messed his life up with drugs, and he doesn’t have a super bright future ahead of him. He can’t get married because he has too many problems already so he can’t have any problems with any kind of relationship. He seems as though he wants to get his life back together but that will be very difficult for him because he is on probation for drug related stuff. And it is hard for an addict to get away from the negative things that the person is addicted to.

Thesis

This whole story revolves around a Fowler with his struggles to catch a white dove. Yet the dove is the beloved queen, the Fowler chooses to do something other than let the dove go and have a wedding. I believe that this story symbolizes that you shouldn't always do something for honor/respect if it will backfire on you.

My Hero Is.....

No one, I don't have a hero at all. I don't have a role model neither. The way I think about that stuff is that you want to follow someones footsteps. I want to just be me, not someone else.

If I Only Had One Year to Live

If I had only one year to live I would do anything that I have not done at that point in time. I would write something but there are just too many to type. It is one of those moments when there is so much to think of you can't think of anything.

I didn't do that much over spring break, the most fun I had over spring break was probably going over to both sides of my family's houses for Easter. Other than that it was a very boring spring break, but better than going to school.

Question #1 - What Do you think about the Confederacy?

Response - I don't agree with what they believe in at all. Especially since they have slaves, that doesn't make sense why they would have them, but they are greedy, corrupt and lazy. Also slaves are human, not some other life form.

Question #2 - Do you carry body armor with you?

Response - No I do not, it is just 10 extra pounds that you need to carry which slows me down. Plus some of my fellow soldiers have tested them out and said they don't even protect you. One time they tested it out and the guy got shot right in the stomach, no protection at all. I'm not taking chances with that thing, also they cost a lot of money.

Question #3 - Are you afraid of some consequences that could occur fighting in the war?

Response - No, I believe we will win the war. If you are talking about me possibly dieing fighting for the Union I guess I am afraid. But I don't believe I will die from a man shooting me, if anything probably from disease.

Free Writing

I think that it was crazy that it was 84 degrees yesterday. It felt like summer, even though the next day it is 50s

Bruno Mars.... -free writing-

Yeah Bruno Mars is annoying. They play 3 of his songs constantly on the radio, and it's annoying. I can probably write down half the lyrics in some of his songs just because they play his songs so much and I hate his music, be quiet haters, it is true. Even my mom thinks the same.

In the beginning of my story they are thinking about, what life would be like after the war. They are worried about their lives being taken in the war. They are afraid of losing the war against the Confedrate States of America. What makes them happy is what they are fighting for. What makes them depressed is what the Confedrate States agree with and what they do.

The main point of the book is telling the story about Jeffereson Davis. Yes, I have thought about it a little bit. I was thinking about being a Union Soldier, and I am going to set the story of basically like a diary/journal whatever you want to call it. The conflict in the story will be I Anthony Michalovitz in battle with The Confedrate State of America. My character will want slavery gone. I'm not sure what our motivation will be just yet. They will get what they want by killing them all or having them surrender.

What motivates people to act could be all of those, money, love, hunger for power and a hunger to do good. Yeah, some people I believe take themselves into consideration more than others. But some people are the opposite and put other people into consideration over themselves. There was a time where I wanted a bird really bad, a bird that I could teach how to talk, tricks, etc. I would always ask my mom everyday, so that was basically my tatic. And the tatic did work, but then I decided I don't want one because they live for so long and take too much responsibility.

If I Were in Charge of The School

If I was in charge of the school it would be baller status. We could just chill with our friends all the time, and have no homework, because I think we should have all our SCHOOL WORK done at SCHOOL, and not at HOME. We could have due dates later since we will only being doing work at school. Yes, my school would definitely be able to pass and go to Highschool. I would hire the best of the best teachers.

Reflection

I thought our discussion went good, we kept the conversation going. We could have been prepared more than we were. I think the assignment is kind of sketchy, but when you actually are presenting it is fine, atleast if you can keep the conversation going. It was challenging to get myself to go up there and do it. It suprised me that people actually responded to our questions.

Free Writing

I think "Free Writing" is too hard, the reason why is because there are too many ideas.

Could Humans Truly Ever Be Equal

It is possible, like in the short story "Harrison Bergeron" their government made them equal. I believe that it would be very boring if everyone was the same and equal. There wouldn't be any creativity nor would there be any new inventions, new ideas, etc, since everyone thinks the same.

What Superpower Would you Have?

If I had any superpower I wanted I would have crazy spells. I would be unbeatable, unless you had a power that you are invincible. Anyways it would be awesome casting insane spells.
